With Sable on his shoulder Razz was able to fully disguise himself more than any mask ever good. Honestly the most surprising thing for him was seeing his face without a scar. Its been so long, but it was an illusion and nothing more. "No I'm half blind, so I haven't the depth perception to properly drive," as if to prove a point he raises his right hand where most people could see it, but it was out of his line. [break][break]

Razz just braces himself as the car takes off, a small nervousness in him as being in cars is not something he is very used to. His Flygon and corvinknight were. But he was there to watch the other's back as some of the people in this circuits were known for cheating. Case in point one of the contestants in front of them using slug. [break][break]

"Just keep going forward," he'd order before looking to Salem. The cat nods as his eyes glow lifting the car slightly enough to avoid the sludge on the road before Salem would drop it. Hopefully the other was a good enough driver to not falter.

they don't have to wait very long to encounter dirty cheats. in the car in front of them, a toxicroak pokes its bulbous head out the window and spews a SLUDGE BOMB in their direction.[break][break]

thankfully, razz has them covered. [break][break]

gears shift the moment the car plops back down, engine roaring as they accelerate. he notices something out of the corner of his eye, gesturing to it with his chin.[break][break]

from another car, a sandslash slashes at the ground, sending a barrage of ROCK SLIDE their way.

The ranger can't help but grab onto the handle as the car lands back on the ground and Matias speeds up. He doesn't want to be in this car anymore. When the other mentions being attacked once more Razz gives a quick whistle to Salem. The cat goes at attention ready and waiting for the second whistle before casting REFLECT around the car as the rock slide reflects off the barrier created by the Meowstic. [break][break]

Part of him wonders if he should attack however he doesn't want to actually hurt any of the racers. Even as once seems to try to just ram them, the REFLECT deflecting them from actually damaging the car. "On the tires," he orders before a different pitched whistle and Salem uses PSYCHIC to stop the other racer's tires to bring them to a full stop. [break][break]

the ROCK SLIDE simply REFLECTS off, leaving the car in tact, though he's forced to do a hard swerve to avoid one of them. tires skid but soon find traction, holding steady. [break][break]

at the sight of another car trying to ram into them, he's about to ready to swerve into them to meet them head-on. he actually does, but their own car finds nothing but air.[break][break]

his eyes peer ahead, narrowing.[break][break]

"not that long. why? you wanna drive?"

Razz's other hand couldn't help but desperately grab at the seatbelt he was wearing. Why couldn't he use a flying pokemon? Especially as the other tried to ram into the car Salem forced to break. What part of he had this handled didn't the other get?[break][break]

"No I want out because your driving is stressing," he states more as a matter or fact rather than attempting to be insulting. Salem seems to say something which makes Razz just glare at the cat. Salem looks to Matias as if asking to go faster! [break][break]

Well at least one of them was enjoying this.

A nervous yelp comes from him as suddenly the car is up in the air by a missed Stone Edge. Razz doesn’t even need to give an order for Salem’s more protective nature to kick in as he uses PSYCHIC in order to even out the car, then Sable adds in with COPYCAT to copy Salem’s PSYCHIC and follow his lead on holding the car to make sure it landed safe and fast to ensure they kept up with the rest of the racers. He pats both of his pokemon for their good work. [break][break]

just like in harry potter and the chamber of secrets, their car soars through the air, making the impossible possible. they land back not long after that, tires skidding against dirt to regain traction.[break][break]

the finish line's just up ahead and surprisingly, they're in the lead. he peers to the mirror by his side, sees another car right on their tail. it's decorated with flames.[break][break]

speaking of — a desperate FIRE BLAST soars their way.

"Just get us past the line," Razz pleads as he looks back down the middle to see the fire coming at them. Shit shit shit, "Sable window, Salem take it out," he orders before the Zoura uses PUNISHMENT to take out the back window. This wasn't the other's car was it? Oh well. [break][break]

With the back window now open Salem would use SHADOW BALL to counter the FIRE BLAST, making the attack explode midway before it could reach them.
